Is there an outage?

I noticed that, but isn’t that for tonight?

And Ipswich. 0.15 down, 0.0 up.
Been like it since 2am

I’m getting same in Norwich. Can’t find any CityFibre service status page. Feel a little in the dark with this atm. I’m supposed to start work at 8 and need a working internet connection.

Yep. No connection at all in Ipswich. In my logs I saw it dropped out a couple of times in the early hours but nothing working for me this morning. Not great.

Still not working and no acknowledgment of update from the yayzi team

Absolutely ridiculous

I mean it’s not even 8am.
Their staff do sleep…

Maintenence is scheduled for overnight, so maybe they sleep during daylight hours

It’s not Yayzi planned maintenance, it appears to be a City Fibre issue as it is impacting multiple customers.

The Yayzi guys are awake, and are in contact with CityFibre. Please note this is not a Yayzi issue as they have ran checks and found it to be something CityFibre side.

An acknoweldgment of the fault and estimated time to resolution might be nice…

Seems fixed now for me in Rugby

Same here hopefully it’s sorted, be good to what happened. Hopefully there will be an update once its closed down by cityfibre and Yayzi have been informed.

Seems to be resolved now for me.

fixed for me now in leicester

Ditto here:

I was considering migrating to another CF supplier (Zen) at contract end, but if all the outages are CF side … maybe I need to give up the symmetric dream and go to BT. I’d love to stop paying two ISPs for reliability (CF & Virgin)

Back up here in Rochester, now

Reported resolved from CityFibre

Same here, paying for CF & VM (150mb backup). To be fair other than the rip-off pricing and “new customer” favoritism, I never really had many issues of downtime with VM.

Considering CF are a much much newer network and technology I really don’t get all the outages they experience. I wish they could be as reliable as my VM was, I could then cancel my second line, I don’t mind a couple of short outages a year, but CF has them way too regular.

Openreach fibre has just reached our street, but the pricing is not much better than VM from what have seen.
