Hi all I managed to snag a cheap lnksys Hydra 6 pro router, so while I’m using the yayzi router and fingers crossed nothing happens to it, this will be my backup. But since it’s just sitting there doing nothing I was wondering could I use I to be a wireless extender.?
I’ve looked on the net and couldn’t find a while lot of information on how to achieve this, which I think it will be do going by articles I’ve read, but I just can’t find the settings to make this do it in the router settings. I’ve tried adding it to the to yayzi routers mesh settings but nada. I’m assuming they both hate each other and hate me more for trying.
I don’t believe it can be used as part of a ‘yfi mesh’ I think it’s called… as it’s designed to be a router in router mode, Other people know more than me though
