No Internet or IPV4 Address On Router

Hi all, we’ve only had our new connection since Monday but today it has stopped working. I’ve tried a number of things to restore the connection and I haven’t had any success:

Restarted Calix ONT
Turned off ONT for 15 mins
Reset ONT
All lights are green on ONT
Reset router

3 different Ethernet cables
2 routers (1 x Asus BE98, 1 x TP-Link Yayzi)

If anyone can help restore the connection that would be greatly appreciated :grinning:

Best bet would be to drop a line over to [email protected] they will be able to take a look at the line and see if there’s any issues :slight_smile:

Morning! thanks for your reply. We did send a message there but as we’re new, not sure how long it may take for support from Yayzi - hopefully not very long :slight_smile:

The support are usually fantastic, I would probably expect an email back within the hour

I thought I’d post an update. We were asked to turn the OTM and router off for the 10 minutes. Once I turned the OTM back on the service light stayed red - we’ve been told an engineer needs to visit.

We’re on our 5th day with this new setup and it’s frustrating we need an engineer back so soon. I hope they manage to get a Cityfibre engineer over today.

I don’t believe they work weekends, I may be wrong though.

The support assistant asked if an we would be around for an engineer visit today, Monday or Tuesday so I assumed they do work weekends. Yayzi didn’t get back to us until about 3pm and said nothing is booked until Cityfibre confirm the booking. I’m thinking it’s going to be Tuesday onwards for a visit.

Hi all, our connection randomly came back to life earlier today and seems stable. We shall see if an engineer is still needed, however I am thankful we are back online :sweat_smile:
