Google has been fixed, its just taking time for the propagation across googles servers to finish.
Yep, still US of A for me too.
DB-IP has been updated. As has Maxmind, Google has confirmed it’s been done but said it has to filter through. So hopefully we should start seeing that shortly
How long does this normally take?
It can take 72 hours for stuff to propagate over the interwebs
I’m in the same situation getting non uk search results and all my you tube adds are for USA as well
Mine has updated and back in uk
Still USA this morning……
@Yayzi_Team I’m having issues with various sites:
Amazon Inc. App - refusing to load images for items, asking me to authorise small payments via my bank, even though I have a amazon business account and it’s never asked, if i order over mobile data its fine, i dont need to approve purchases and images load fine
Reddit some images load but when i select one to view full screen it refuses to load, again works fine on mobile data.
Vinted - my wife says she cannot get on Vinted unless she uses mobile data.
Google - updated to the UK but says I’m in Rotherham (I’m in York) other search engines show either london, Blackpool or Rotherham.
I know it will take some time to fix / update, I just wanted to make you aware of the problems I’m having
Also sent an e-mail about my Static IP 2 days ago but got no response.
You won’t get a response until its been actioned - but they’re working through the IP’s currently.
The other ones you’ve raised here we’ll look into - We can’t do anything about Google showing certain regions within the UK.
That’s fine, thanks
I read after I posted that, the locations are based on each websites own geo-location means and that is understandable.
Loving the USA ads makes me feel like I’m on holiday
Hi team,
I checked it now and all results on browsers are still USA. Do you recommend me to restart ONT or router? Or open a case?
same here all my results are still base in the usa i reported this from last friday still the same
@omar it is a real problem for me. My wife still is not aware of this problem because I have Virgin Media atm but at the end of this month it’s gonna be my real issue She never wanted to switch the ISP and I’m the one who praise Yayzi.
You’ll have more than geo-location issues to worry about if you use VM’s Tivo box for TV…
All the databases have been updated, the rest is unfortunately down to how quickly these services update their database.
@Yayzi_Team then it is better for me to email noc to ask to static IP which is already a part of my broadband package. It’s going to prevent these kind of issues.
@Yayzi_Team still have non uk results it’s not sorted
