Aginet EX230v and Mesh Network

Hi all,

I’ve been using Yayzi for the first month after being with Virgin since they took over from NTL. I’m on the 1 GB package and, although I’ve only ever managed 700 MB download, it’s more than enough for our needs.

Now to my problem, and apologies in advance if this subject has been covered elsewhere. I have done a search and nothing is standing out to me, so here goes.

I used 3 EERO 6 mesh routers with my old Virgin hub as I couldn’t even get a signal through the wall; it was that bad. Unfortunately, I’m still suffering from buffering on the TV in my other room. I’m lucky if I get 46 Mbps on a good day.

I’ve tried to get the EERO 6s working with my new Aginet EX230V router, but so far have failed.

First question: Is it even possible to use the EERO 6 with this router as a mesh network?

Final question: If not, what mesh hardware would you recommend I use with the EX230V?

Thank you in advance,
Jon

you don’t need to use the EX230V just connect the ethernet cable from the wall to the eero. You will first need to configure the VLAN tag 911

Thank you very much. I’ll get on that tonight

All set up. Had to enter the I.P address, subnet mask and router I.P before setting VLAN up. Didn’t work for a couple of goes, but I persevered and got there in the end.

Getting about 750mb in both rooms now. Happy days.
