Silence lol
Wish I could help but hey, exams suck!
Likewise, we are a layer 3 Cisco house but Cisco moving to Aruba CXs on the layer 2, very similar commands. Have 2 qualified, but I’m near retirement so not going there lol
Having the CCNP cert is all well and good but doesn’t prove much, there’s plenty of places to buy exam dumps (I don’t condone this at all) then its just a memorisation game for the exam.
CCIE is a totally different beast and would be very difficult to prove you are worth your salt with the eight-hour, in-person, hands-on lab or practical exam.
I’d take a network engineer that’s time served and worked on large enterprise networks and can demonstrate they know their stuff without the cert, over one that just has the piece of paper.
But I’m not the hiring manager
I failed my CCENT but considering im a Senior Network Eng at my firm i don’t think that’s ever been a problem
Well if anyone has any experience on Cisco ASR hardware, let me know!
Drop me a DM
If you had said Nokia or Juniper i probably could have been some assistance. Cisco ASR’s are probably the only major platform that i don’t touch.
I’m not sure, my professor Meser guides, for my CCNA that I got 11 years ago now covers the Cisco ASR, but I will have a look
I have the paper to prove it, but I doubt I remember any of the knowledge After not using it for 10 years
Hi @Yayzi_Team Liam,
Out of curiosity, are you looking to employ somebody, or you need help with something?
We’re looking to add someone on a freelance basis, with a view to go full time
@Yayzi_Team Liam,
I could be interested, and I’ve got:
CCNA1 (Networking for Home and Small Businesses)
CCNA2 (Working at a Small-to-Medium Business or ISP)
that I did in 2010.
I could send my full CV if required. If it’s too little then no hard feelings
Dm’d you
Network Engineer with Cisco Experience inc ASR9K. What you need doing?
Can you drop me a DM?
