Connected at last, ping times are a huge disappointment though

Have you dropped us an email? I haven’t seen anything come in yet

We’re on national, so we would expect everyone to have the same issue if it was our end. Having local interconnects will certainly help in some cases, when we had the port issues, everyone’s graphs were almost identical.

We’re not seeing anything like that this time around.

Hopefully the upgrades you’re making will fix the issues. I don’t play online all that often, so I don’t see The lag spikes ever being an issue. But I can definitely see that there is some sort of issue somewhere

Ignore the big red box as I lost power for awhile

Their issues have been creeping up the last few months

That one was August 31st 2024

This is by no means a complaint. I’m just observing.

My observations are exactly the same as yours!

Pretty similar here also.

Comparing to a forum post from October 2023

My Broadband Ping - Yayzi

vs 3-months ago, everything between gets progressively worse

If it was a line issue it wouldn’t just affect peak times, off-peak is always fine.

This is helpful, thank you.

Similar story in West Yorkshire. It varies a bit during the week, for example yesterday:

vs last Monday (which actually saw packet loss):

Latency has really gone down the pan this evening, this seriously needs looking into.

Yep, really crap here tonight too. Ping times are about 8 times higher than normal!

Just checked download speeds too and about 25% of what I normally get.

Definitely something going on here.

Tell me about it!

Yep speeds have dropped a bit too, 1.4gbps on average instead of 2gbps, that’s well below the speed guarantee for the package I’m on as well. Have messaged support about it.

Leicester. If people could post their locations it would probably prove it’s not local.

Same here with throughput.

Usually its 2 down and 1 up consistently

There’s no way this is just local congestion, funny how this all started the day I switched to Yayzi, never had any of these issues with my other CF isp but I switched due to the higher speeds offered which tonight I’m well below the speed guarantee over ethernet stated on the website.

Ouch, something a miss here too in Milton Keynes…

Suffering here also, just so happened to be around the time I decided to repaste the CPU on the router as it was running a bit on the warm side, the large chunk of dropped packets is where I’ve been trying to see if the CPU was throttling down if it wasn’t repasted properly :man_facepalming:

If it helps, my quality monitors from the newer ISP. There is an increase in latency but not nearly as bad as all of yours.

Hopefully this helps Yayzi staff

Your fault then?

Ipswich

So far, I had only the very best experience with Yayzi. Perfect speed at all times. I usually get 4.8 ping and 2050 down and 980 up as speed.

I live in Peterborough. And tonight I have got the problems too.

25 ping, 1327 down, 723 up.
On the positive, at least we still got Internet access.

So, this must be a nationwide problem. Not to worry, they will sort it.
