Hi folks,
I was on Virgin and Vodafone before and I have never been on ONT connection before. I talked to Yayzi before switching to them about purchasing my own router (TP-Link BE550) and they said is it ok for Vlan tagging so no problem.
What am I gonna do now? Connect my own tplink BE550 to Ethernet port on ONT and use Tether App to set-up? I couldn’t find a guidance on their website and I have no clue what to do. Can you please tell me how I can proceed?
If you please kindly assist me, I would appreciate.
navigate to Advanced > Network > IPTV/VLAN within the router’s web interface, where you can input the VLAN ID
So quick, Juve! Thank you
Thanks very much. So Yayzi wil provide me Vlan ID, correct?
It would be Dynamic IP and VLAN 911
Thanks. I have 1.2 GBPs internet and there needs to be static İP. Can you tell me what to in this case?
These stats Static IP will be set on Yayzi’s end, There’s nothing you need to do unless they specifically say to set a static IP, Which is very rare that they do
Just leave it as a dynamic IP and VLAN 911
dont get that router i had one return 2 days later
@Pointonrobert Thanks much
I already ripped off the box unfortunately. Can you tell me what’s the reason you don’t like it? I have heard nothing but good reviews.
What’s your recommended router?
thanks very much, it worked after a couple of tries. but the connection is terrible, unfortunately. I tested Wi-Fi with iPhone 13 pro max at 30 cm from Router. I also tested the speed with an ethernet cable (Cat6).
Currently there are network issues going on - Yayzi have done a massive hardware upgrade over the last week that required moving every customer across from one hardware system to another over several days and has forced some issues with speeds and packet loss. I would presume that’s the cause for the slowness you’re seeing. Supposedly it should all be sorted by the end of the day tomorrow
I hope so m8. I have read many posts about this problem and I assumed it would be bad for me as well due to network upgrade. I just wanted to share my broadband speed results under the topic I opened. I saw in another post someone said it would be ok on 14dec. fingers crossed.
