Woke up this morning at ~9am with no internet. It is now 5.30pm and still no internet.
Everytime Yayzi make any changes to their network I am without internet for literally days as a result of it.
I honest to god dread seeing the “we’re making some slight changes to our service tomorrow, everyone will be down for a short time as a result”. as I know for me it will take 5 emails, a bunch of tickets and waiting 5 days to get back online.
Can you let me know when my service will be back please? Will it 1000% be today? As in can you promise on this absolute it will be today.
Have you made sure your router is set to DHCP and not static? Everyone is being moved IPs temporarily while the migration happens so probably worth checking you’re not trying to get an IP that doesn’t currently work.
My line doesn’t work with DHCP they had to give me Static. I have tried multiple routers. It never works. It seems to be the ONT CityFibre installed that has issues. This is always the problem causing 5 days of no internet.
Try switching the setting to DHCP and see if it grabs one of the new IPs.
Please also provide some logs from the router, as @Arthanex states the router needs to be set to DHCP for the time being, Yayzi cannot provide the old range until the Migration is done on December 11th
Switch to dynamic for me. You’ve been moved to the new network.
