I can from PFsense plus with several modules, I used to have all sorts of funnies, that’s a fork so I wouldn’t if it’s some funny with OPNsense. Have a check all the services are running and the gateway is set correctly, I used auto but sometimes the gateway might need to be the IPV4 WAN connection.
Check if the gateway is up etc, but you know all this and already checked?
