IPv6 Migration. Own Router

Hi all.
I’m Network experienced but IPv6 noob.

Does anyone know if the IPv6 setup will be dual stacked alongside IPv4 or a full migration?

My kit (UniFi) needs an IPv6 prefix delegation size and I’ve seen various values (/56, /60 & /64) I’m assuming /60 but I’m sort of guessing. Anyone know what the value is for Yayzi?

@Yayzi_Team are you going to provide these details like the prefix delegation size for users? Please! :folded_hands:

Its Dual stacked.
Delegation size is /64
IPv6 connection type is DHCPv6

struggling to get it working on the yayzi supplied router.is this right?

The changes will be deployed in a rolling schedule, beginning in the early hours of Monday 21st July, and should be completed by the following morning (that is, 0800 Tuesday 22nd).

So not live yet!

Thanks, the original post didn’t read too well. So it’s live, but not actually live, and will be enabled next week. If i want v6, i need to enable it on the router, if i dont, then i can do nothing and stick with ipv4.

Just enable it in the router, it won’t harm anything. It’ll still use IPv4 for most things anyway.

Just checking the WAN IPv6 prefix of /64

/64 is one subnet

/56 is 256 x /64 subnets

/48 is 65,536 x /64 subnets

We are assign only one subnet?

Did we not have /56 last time?
