IPv6 plans and details

Yeah no rush just didn’t want to miss it😂

Don’t think you’ll miss it, Maybe next week… I mean IPv6 is small fry compared to trying to launch a mobile network

Is it too late to get added to the beta group?

I would’ve thought it would still be open, they’ve not yet sent anything out… yet, but we’re not in a rush here! Yayzi have priorities

Yeah absolutely still open, and this has dropped down the priority list just for the next few days while we get some mobile stuff sorted :slightly_smiling_face:

Can I also be added to the IPv6 beta?

Thank you!

Can you also add me to the beta, as per the email conversation I’ve been having with Stefan?

Thanks

I’m interested in testing if there’s still room! Thank you!

@Yayzi_Team

The 2a11:2c80::/29 IPv6 assigned to yayzi - shows on most geoip dns as

“asNumber”: 210893,
“asName”: “LAYEREDTECH”,
“isp”: “Layered Technologies Limited”,
“usageType”: “corporate”,
“organization”: “Layered Technologies Limited”,

During the Beta test, would be good catch any issues with teh GeoIP DBs ; correct ISP names, Connection types and locations.

Hopefully this should be less stress than the IPv4 reassignments.

cheers

I’m not on yayzi yet. Evaluating. But for me IPv6 is very important. I currently use opnsense and have a full dual stack connection with a /48 prefix which can be delegated.

I guess IPv6 on yayzi is in progress. Just wondering if anyone has this combo working yet?

Out of interest I’m seeing 80pc + of dns requests in my local network coming over ipv6, and a similar percentage of traffic (based on traffic inspection) which is pretty decent!
