Thank you!
I’m on network application 4.0.18 and it doesn’t display, future version as you say
did you delegate it to the clients via the networks?
The Issue is one Settings > INTERNET the v6 WAN address is not displayed, you can go to Settings > NETWORKS and you’ll see the deligated Subnet /64.
Is there any ETA on move to /48?
Is the IPv6 /60 (future /48)assigned set as static ?
Aye its eventually kicked in.
Will learn more about, not something ive paid much attention too as never had a need for it but will now.
Im back on the Yayzi Router (ex820v) - Have enabled IP V6 but to no avail, I’m still on a 154. IP (which looks the same but could be wrong)
Guessing I need to wait for the firmware update to drop.
What IPv4 you on?
Pretty much stock settings - is set to Dynamic IP.
Under IPv6 I have left the addressing type to Auto
When’s the update being pushed for the Yayzi routers?
If your on a new range then yeah plus I think they use IPv6 maybe
Or it’s the 1st of the month and they pulled new db!
Also reinstalling channel4 fixed it now as it seems to be caching somewhere
@Yayzi_Team this came as a nice surprise, thanks guys.
No issues here on my Mikrotik gear.
Should we expect the prefixes to be permanent? (Unlike the static IPs )
They’ll be moving to a /48, but yes I would think they’d be permanent after
If they offer other prefix sizes, thats fine and makes some sense
It would be a bit of a pain if there’ll be a requirement to relinquish the IPv6 prefixes issued to date though.
The service was announced as now being live, so not beta.
So, with IPv6 its got to be expected for allocations to be more permanent.
Sure, address allocation is much more dyanmic and automatic (yay!) But NAT isnt a thing now, every decice gets its own routable IPv6 address. As soon as stuff starts getting IPv6 addresses, changing someones prefix delegation has an impact on their internal network.
Was just looking for some reassurance that the prefix delegations are going to be pretty persistent
Is there anyway you could upload the new IPv6 HX220 firmware to somewhere like Meganz as I have not been able to get it as I have no internet and I think I am stuck in a catch 22 as with no internet I cannot get it. And without it I have no internet.
Doesn’t seem like any new firmware has dropped. Still on IPV4 and no IPV6 address.
Does anyone know if they’ve been updated on the ex820v?
Same here. I’m still on the original firmware:
Perhaps others have managed to load a later version?
I’ve been told the new firmware is currently is being tested once they have the results and it’s all ready to go they’ll release a firmware update for all Yayzi routers. Until then just keep the IPV4 and IPV6 enabled in your router. You wont be missing out anything by not having IPV6
