A while back I contacted support about my ping times not being as low as I would like, they did say they’d look into it but I’ve not heard anything since but you can imagine my surprise when I just did a ping from the cmd prompt and saw much lower ping times.
Checking my BQM graph the latency reduced in the early hours and has stayed low, I’ve had short drops in latency before but they’ve only lasted a very short while before climbing back up, hoping they stay low.
That’s interesting as the highest that my idle ping ever goes is 8ms, at least according to my unifi dashboard anyway it normally stays around 6ms
And your point is exactly? Latency in star citizen & bf2042, only games I’ve tested so far both dropped by over 10ms, I ain’t just talking about ping times to bbc, Google etc ffs
Mine jumped up 2 nights ago at 4am…it’s now comparable to Virgin cable broadband. Not impressed. Ticket raised.
It shouldn’t be a surprise really given we’re on the same exchange, but same here. I was going to mention it yesterday when I noticed it, but then got dismayed at the fact that my speedtest results are still as rubbish as they’ve been since migration.
Same issue, my speedtest was always over 1.2gb/s on download, now it never reaches that. My uploads the same as previous. However, now my uploads faster than my download.
I’ll try turning my cable around the other way to see if that helps 
Try with the Yayzi Speedtest server, do you have any QaoS on?
What router?
It’s the same with various test servers, no QOS and hard wired, using Yayzi EX820v router in the 2.5gb port. It was fine pre-migration and changed straight after migration. My ping also increased in the same timeframe, although something happened like everyone else a few days ago where the ping improved and is back to where it was pre migration. I’m hoping over time the speed will come back also as the networks improved/tweaked.
to Google, CF, BBC, Azure its all 2-4ms.
