This is very annoying especially when I’m gaming it randomly disconnects. I plug it in via ethernet to make sure this doesn’t happen. Is there going to be a new update for this router, I’ve been getting this since I joined Yayzi.

If you haven’t already, please set up a Think Broadband Checker, This will monitor your connection and provide a connection history to be able to handover to Yayzi For evidence of the disconnections.

Do the disconnects happen to other devices that are plugged into the router ? What type of device is this ? Is it a Gaming PC or a Console?
How sensitive to heat is the router? I do have this placed under the stairs with my PC. It’s a gaming pc we don’t own anyconsoles .
Unsure on the Yayzi router in particular, but in general, routers don’t do well with heat. The chips in most routers are already under high workload, which they cope with under normal conditions, under high heat the CPU may throttle. Similar to how a gaming PC would.
Does this issue become more apparent when the gaming PC is on?
Ideally the router should be in an open area, or at least well ventilated not too close to a heat source.
It may be worth just ruling out the ethernet cable as well, if you have another cable to test if it occurs, if it does, then perhaps try another port on the router. Good to rule those two out in the first place.
