No internet after swapping router back

I’ve been with Yayzi for a couple of weeks,
yesterday I tried setting up an old router, because I saw it supported VLAN 911 & ipoe.
When it was all setup, it said connecting, and appeared to be receiving some packets, according to the admin panel at least.

After 30+ minutes or so, it looked to be stuck on “Connecting…” so I went back to the EX230v router from Yayzi.

But now that one refuses to connect too :pensive:

I’ve tried switching off the ONT box for 5 minutes, the router for 5 minutes, both, in various combinations, along with resetting the router itself.
And after leaving them both on overnight, it still doesn’t want to connect.

Is this unusual behavior?
I expected at least if the replacement router didn’t work, that the Yayzi provided one (which I’ve been using just fine) would connect again without any issue.

I’ve emailed support already, but I’m assuming they won’t be back until Monday so maybe someone here might know something.

It certainly is unusual behaviour. What we’ve seen is sometimes the ONT seems to hold onto MAC addresses. If you turn everything off for half an hour. Then turn just the ONT back on, then another 5 mins later pop your router on. If you’re still having issues drop us an email to [email protected]

Hi, I did that several times. As well as leaving it overnight.
I tried the older router again last night, and it connected in the middle of the night, strangely.
I guess I will keep using this one.
