No Internet all of a sudden

I’ve just raised ticket #533 for the same issue - had poor speed all day - around 25Mbps but persisted with it due to working from home. Tonight the speed dropped to around 5Mbps so thought I’d restart the ONT and router, and now o have no connection - the internet lights on the router is red

My ONT is green. Except the activity light…

Definitely don’t turn any kit off unless advised by us. Please :slightly_smiling_face:

People are rebooting their kit when the speed is getting low the issue with rebooting is sometimes you have to wait 15 minutes for the DHCP to lapse and then the connection will come back online usually

ONT lights fine. No connection

Well mine was out for aver an hr…then came bk briefly…then went again…now its bk…god knows how long for though…

Posts higher up are saying it’s been over an hour and still they’re not back online.

Post a ticket that you don’t respond to? What’s the point?

Well, I am now connected, with a blazing 9.1Mbps down and 6.6 up… better than nothing I guess :man_shrugging:

now got my 900 up and 800 down supposed to be 900 up and down
… not sure if it will last but its there… also on my ipv6 settings iv selected 6to4 …its not native ipv6 but its something

Glad to see you are now back up to speed (almost). Once CityFibre have confirmed we are all clear then coms will go out.

IPv6 native should be going live next

I’m only getting 400 down / 360 up - are we still under speed restrictions?

Shouldn’t be, what server are you testing to?

Is QoS on, on your router?
Is this WiFi or Ethernet?
