Nice, keep us posted and let us know if you need us / me to test anything or provide any data.
The sooner my unifi stuff stops bitching, the better

I think I’ve said before, I always remove it when doing troubleshooting just in case I end up looking stupid.
It’s not the stick. But then again I wouldn’t expect you to know that, so it’s a fair shout.
Them pesky flux capacitors, always breaking i hear! Very hard to find as well, always out of stock
I meant that literally (seeing as most people on here have never used them including me until now and even the most experienced network engineers I know have never used them in this scenario), but yeah I yawn a lot at you too, especially when I have to fix Sentinel One deployments
The Lancer Captain deployments are the worst type, this is where I experience flux capacitor failures the most
Interestingly enough and as you suggested, getting full bandwidth running on Opnsense itself. But speed test from my PC is still capping out at between 1.6-1.7
That has ruled Opnsense out, which is a rabbit hole in itself.
But the same exact test using the Yayzi router, same multi gig switch and same PC I can get full bandwidth on the PC. The only thing that is added into the mix when using Opnsense is a LAN NIC on the proxmox server, which I think is where the issue is. Tshoot job for the weekend.
Well, looks like something has happened again as my pings are back to 3ms!
Yay!
Something happened after the usual 1am to 2am ping spikes
Cries in 6-7ms
Kidding obviously, you’re barely feel the 3ms difference
Not noticed any issues here physically (Northampshire ways)
Ping graph says this but its nothing bad.
Nothing compared to Virgin Business mind you lol
Outbound way you can see it a little bit but nothing noticeable IRL. I didn’t notice when I was on some COD (yes I play COD)
Nothing major showing on PRTG
Ouch, that does look pretty bad. At those times, traffic was only sat at around 49% - We’ve got the guys looking further down the line. CityFibre have been doing some work in some areas over the last few days.
Thanks guys. It’s not particularly noticeable right now - I don’t do much ping sensitive stuff - but it looks like the early days of the port capacity issue so thought I’d share.
Oh trust me on this one. We’re paranoid about having a port issue again we’re ahead already with the next upgrade but we still have 40% capacity available at peak times as it stands.
We won’t be making that mistake again
We will all hold you to that Liam!
Please do!
