Just wanted to say thanks to the Yayzi team for the quick response and support today.
Working from home and lost connection around 11:00.
Job involves verification of hundreds of payments to bereaved families by a deadline.
Email to support, response within minutes and identified it was not a Yayzi issue, ticket raised with CF.
Going above and beyond CF where called to prioritise the issue.
I was kept updated as things progressed by Yayzi team.
Turned out to be an area wide issue which was resolved in a couple of hours.
Fortunately I have an exceptional team who I work with to cover the downtime.
You wouldn’t get this service from some of the bigger providers, let’s hope they don’t notice and try to buy Yayzi out.
I’m sure the Yayzi team will appreciate this
If you haven’t already then it would also help Yayzi out massively on Trustpilot Rate Yayzi Broadband
Done and happy to do so.
Thank you so much! It does mean a lot
This would be a case for having a cheap backup Internet solution
If you have a job that requires a strict deadline, I would not necessarily get another Broadband provided but get a cheap 4G modem and plug that in to use as a backup if your main line goes down
Of course it depends what router you’re using, but most of the third party routers will handle two WAN connections
Get a Mobile backup solution, WFH is great, but If you work with time sensitive payments, a mobile backup /failover solution will take a lot of stress out.
I picked up a used Netgear MR1100 LTE Router from CeX, been a godsend, whenever there has been service outage, the LTE failover has kicked in with no interuption. Get usuall 80 /20 which is more than enough to keep working.
Even if your router doesn’t have a WAN failover feature, firing up the LTE Router and connecting over Wifi or Ethernet is couple of minutes.
I’ll have a look at CeX, I never thought of there
Here’s me hoping it was gonna be £40
