Sky Location issue

I am on a static IP address 149…. Since yesterday I am getting the sky location issue and unable to view any channels via the Sky Puck.

Any suggestions?

That’s less than useful…
Put your IP address in here and see if any of these don’t know where the puck you are :slight_smile:

I’ve already done all that and the location correctly comes backs as London, UK.

For one provider, or all of them?

The odd one is showing Blackpool but not sure why that should suddenly cause an issue now.
They all come back as UK though.

Does the issue go away if you use a VPN?

I created a hotspot on my phone and connected to that and it worked fine through the mobile network sincerely an IP issue.

Strangely prime video which is very fussy is working fine!

BBC iplayer also not working now and thinks I’m not in the UK!

The 149.18.86.0/23 subnet on Maxmind ,showing up as:

Edison, New Jersey, United States (US), North America 149.18.86.0/23 08899 40.5237, -74.4151 (100 km) Yayzi Broadband - Cable/DSL

Maybe the issue, most other DB show UK/GB

Thanks, why would it suddenly change from working absolutely fine! Iplayer also now having issues.

Maxmind issue not Yayzi

maxmind needs to update thier DB.

Yayzi contacted them yesterday and should be done today but nothing so far.

I don’t know if this is related but this morning Now TV stopped working along with iPlayer for around an hour on Apple TV puck.
A message briefly appeared about no such server found.
A couple of restarts later everything worked again.
I’m not as techy as a lot of you on here, started on 56 dial up and relied on plug and play stuff recently.
