Still not activated

Hi I joined yesterday and the engineer said I should be activated within a couple of hours, nearly 24 hours later nothing. I had emailed support but still nothing.

I’m a home worker so having no internet for 24 hours is a real problem.

What lights are green in the ONT box on the wall?

Are you using the Yayzi router?

4 green lights on the ont , all blue on the Yayzi router accept a red internet light.

Already on it :slight_smile: CityFibre haven’t provided the SVLAN and CVLAN for some reason, we’re just waiting for a reply back from them, we’ll keep chasing

Any updates, I’ve already had to move 2 client meetings. It’s getting desperate.

Still down… kind of regret moving now, this is the most down time I’ve had in years.

We’re really sorry about this. Usually this information is sent before you get connected and the system activates it automatically.

In this case CityFibre have failed to provide this information. And I have to be fair to them. This is the first time this particular issue has happened, but we had to raise via their order desk rather than their service desk (service desk kept trying to send an engineer which isn’t needed)

We will get you up and running by tomorrow, before 12am you have my word on that

Hate to be that guy… but it’s 11:48 and I’m still not activated.

We’re currently on the phone with CityFibre regarding this.

Any news, I was promised this would be sorted by 12 today
