The address checker isn't very good

Checking with a neighbour’s address to see if my area’s gone XGS-PON Yet, and I can’t get the address checker to work.

It’s fine if I check at a relative’s address; they live in a house.

I’m in a flat, and I can’t for the life of me get it to admit that Yayzi’s available here. Regardless of how I format the flat number bit, I just get “Unfortunately, the address you provided is currently outside of our service area.”, which I know is nonsense.

The old address checker before the website redesign worked fine, but if it’s telling me that my building can’t get it, it’s probably telling other people too and Yayzi’s losing out on business.

You’re not the first to have noticed this. Quite why they can’t just use Google’s address lookup, I don’t know,

Even if your neighbours are showing as XGS-PON available you still might not be able to get it or at least that’s what my situation was when I was able to check other addresses on my postcode with the old checker the yayzi site used to use, the new one can’t find any address on my postcode!

It showed both neighbours as being able to order the 2.3 gig pro package but when I requested to be upgraded I was told it wasn’t available.
