Upgrade/Downgrade Billing cycle

Since I can change my package online via the “My Yayzi” section, How would this effect billing?

I am on 2.5Gig Pro+, If I was to downgrade to say 1gig for £35 would that change happen right away and I would be charged at the lower rate for the rest of the billing period?

I was able to upgrade via the portal from 1gig to 2.5Gig Pro+ soon after I joined Yayzi and that change happened within a few mins.
