Could of guessed, that 154 range is an absolute pain. Time and time again it keeps cropping up. email [email protected] and asked to be moved off it.
Strangely - I’m also on the 154.60 range - mmm, might explain my issues too
I’ve voiced my opinion about that IP range on more than one occasion. It should not be getting assigned. Doesnt change anything unfortunately.
154.60 should be fine guys. But will take a look at any specific problems you encounter
It’s the 154.54 ranges that had issues.
I think there may well be an issue with the routing/peering with regards to Cloudflare as I get constant Captcha challenges with any site that uses Cloudflare which I never used to get when with VM.
So I added VPN on the Gateway and assigned it to the FireTV:
- Apple TV works on FireTV (through VPN)
- Apple TV does NOT work on iPad which is a direct connection
I assigned the iPad to the VPN and boom it works, so definitely something going on between Yayzi’s network and whatever backbone Apple are on.
I’ve reaching my post limit for the day so editing this here….
So I has another look around and it seems the ASN for Yayzi is AS20473 (assuming this is the right way to get it: 1.1.1.1 — One of the Internet’s Fastest, Privacy-First DNS Resolver)
This is The Constance Company which for BGP is considered to be in the USA: AS20473 The Constant Company, LLC - bgp.tools
Could this be a reason?
Both blocks should be reporting as UK based.
Random address pulled from 80.0/23
154.60.80.0/23 is not used by Yayzi though.
154.60.94.0/23 is
I’ve also notied some issues - Apple TV was a problem last night (first time in a month that I’ve used it), however for the last few days BBC News webpage has been slow to load (we are talking 10 sec times), but Fox News / CNN / MSNBC in the US have been fine. Fire up a VPN terminating in the UK and Apple & BBC are fine. Was thinking that it was something to do with some of the core changes that are being made, but now not so sure. IP for me is 154.60.95.x
OK, next issue:
- Apple TV, BBC iPlayer: only work over VPN
- ITV+, Channel4, Disney+: only work over direct connected WAN (no VPN).
- Amazon streaming works on both.
USING the VPN, according to: https://bgp.he.net/
I get:

Using the WAN directly I get

So, following on from the above I think I’ve figured it out:
- I have used CloudFlare’s DNS
1.1.1.1
- Cloudflare thinks I’m in the US based on my IP’s ASN, so the DNS resolves to a US IP for BGP purposes
- Content delivery in US sees my IP as UK, and goes ‘nope’
Please can Yayzi support check your ISP registration(s), specifically to confirm that ALL registrations are from both UK IPs AND UK ASNs?
If you drop us an email we can move you to a different IP
I sent an email last night - can you advise if you’re looking into this?
