My WiFi speeds on my MacBook if I’m lucky only reach 241mb, even when I’m next to the tp link, I know I can get more as I never had the problem when I was with virgin. Anyone got any ideas how I can improve the speeds? Or change the settings so it’s not so slow

I’ve made a change to your router, and turned off the band steering. If you connect directly to the _5G network that should now show (same password) you should get a lot higher speeds.
