90% Packet Loss since ~23:15

Yayzi, this is getting silly now.

Out of no where disconnection and slapped with awful speeds.

For the past 20 minutes or so I’ve been seeing packet loss of around 90%. Is this another impact of the migration affecting many users?

What are you seeing a packet loss in?

Pings to any IP from my router. My internal network is fine. I’m not just going by a metric though, the entire connection is unusable too.

Guessing it’s similar to this:

Yep, been down here for 20 mins. Am connected to Yayzi network but no routing happening…….

Down in Derby too.

I don’t have anything set up to record metrics, but yeah, that looks like it matches my experience.

Down in nottingham

I had the same and it’s just com back now

Down in Bracknell

And back - for now. Still not on the correct IP though………

Seems something just changed, went from 90% loss and 10ms latency to 5% loss and 60ms latency. I joined the discord and saw Yayzi are testing some changes, so I assume this is related to that.

Same here

Was supporting yayzi before but it’s kinda getting out of hand been taking days off work and i’m meant to be in training, keep telling my TL it should be sorted tomorrow then keep getting dropped off calls ngl when it comes to probation review i’m definitely getting fired, came from virgin media to yayzi starting to regret it, told my whole house to trust me after receiving bad service from virgin media but this is 10x worse.

Now back to the 90% loss pattern.

Same. This is ridiculous now.

About 30-40mins ago my internet cut off and has not returned. Seems 11.15pm something big happened.

I’ve been trying to download a 6Gb file for the best part of 4hrs tonight, at pitiful speeds, and now it’s just dropped completely offline due to the worsening packet loss late this evening.

I wish Yayzi would specify emergency maintenance windows to give some notice instead of what sounds like just ‘randomly deciding to mess around with network settings that may or may not improve things’.

Would have been bloody quicker to have just driven back to the office and used our connection there to get the file I needed.
