Anyone else notice

I see it’ll all be ok on the 11th is now before the weekend…

The Migration is complete tomorrow, Liam said everyone will have their old IP back before the weekend

It’s going to be a slow ramp up of speed too, not all at once

Speeds will be back to full capacity before the weekend.

Oh yeah, I noticed but to be fair I don’t think they’ve ever managed to complete something on time.

Wtf. This is much worse than advertised…

I have less than 2mb down

Are you testing directly from the router? Speedtest.net shows me <5mb/s, but testing from the router is showing me 40mb/s

The company quoted speed and latency fully restored after the 11th. Hopefully the end but if not I will have no choice but to cease this account go elsewhere.

My pc is connected directly to the router with no switch etc in between…

I have faith in the yayzi team… The latency is shocking. I hope we can watch the Villa game later or damn I’ll have to go to the pub…

We will ramp up the speeds in increments, and full speeds will be back before weekend.

Migrations finish tomorrow around 6pm, then we will pop the static IPs back on and then ramp the speeds up.

Speeds are awful still, this migration has been a complete debacle - great planning Yayzi!

I’m going to defend Yayzi a little, they didn’t plan for it to be this bad! No matter how well something is planned, plans go wrong as I am sure you’re well aware.

I’m sure Vodafone could have you swapped over tomorrow with the new one touch switch system, if you’re really not happy to ride this out as a lot of people are doing

I’m Sorry but these speeds are ridicuoulsly low …

" As part of our ongoing efforts to transition our entire customer base to our new network, we are pleased to share that we have now reached the midway point of the migration process. To ensure a smooth and equitable transition for all users, we must implement a temporary adjustment to connection speeds for customers already migrated to the new network.

Starting immediately, speeds for migrated customers will be temporarily reduced to around 250 Mbps. This adjustment is necessary to prioritise network stability over speed and to ensure uninterrupted connectivity for everyone during this critical phase. Additionally, occasional latency spikes may occur as we optimise the network and complete the migration process."

This speed is completely unusable, and lower than warned by a factor of 100!

Yes they have been unusable for days now with poor speeds all day and essentially no service at all after 4.30pm, and it looks like this will continue until Friday.

I feel a song coming on “Pump up the speeds pump them up pump them up” if only I could sing lol

As long as it’s sorted for the Leicester game at 3pm Saturday, I am happy.

It will be

Very out of character

By the way I can beat your 2.84 with my

Anyone able to beat that, is there as 1 out there? I feel the nostalgic urge to get back to a Kbps rating

Funnily enough I’ve been having flashbacks to the days of freeserve and putting 20p in the jar next to the computer for a few minutes of internet :joy:

They should do the noise when you do the dialling. Alternatively they could do that thing from 80s computer shows where they played the program data at the end for you to record onto tape and load up to your C64
