This is not just a Yazyi issue, people on Vodafone (CF) are having the same thing. (reddit/forums)
Probably local issue due to contention and usage at peak times. Nearly everyone on my street has Cityfibre - obviouly with different ISP. Reminds of issues we had with VDSL connection and Openreach, conntention at peak times.
I can vouch for this as well, my neighbours on Vodafone are having high ping as well in games during peak times.
If it isn’t a Yayzi issue that is getting fixed by the ongoing migration, then it would be good if Yayzi can contact CityFibre to see if they acknowledge the issue and If they are going to do anything about it anytime soon.
I had some downtime last night, perhaps I was moved across, before that was the worst spikes I’ve seen over the past week or so.
Will report back again tomorrow with results.
CityFibre did some work for XGS-PON prep, from 00:00 to around 00:11.

What’s going on with Yayzi lately my internet is crap. Constant drops outs with wifi and gaming. I can’t keep going on like this unless it does get fixed. My neighbours with cityfibre and there’s has been spot on. It’s totally not acceptable.

Probably agree with Lee here, I wouldn’t worry too much. I am sure you won’t even notice it @supershaun! Average latency is 40ish until recent, so just take a break from gaming and you’re good to go! Read some Books on your Kindle, Thank me later! Oh and try restarting your ONT and router, Always fixes it.

I think I heard latency reduces if youve got a /29 block. Maybe Yayzi can clarify that.

But supershaun has already stated that his neighbour, who is on CF with a different provider, is not having any issues.
There may well be different issues at play but there are certainly some that are Yayzi specific so this migration can not happen soon enough.
I just hope he hasn’t been migrated already!

I’ve gone back to using my 20+ year old VM technology for gaming, for some reason it doesn’t suffer from local issues 
No just has higher ping constantly
Oh and the DNS issues
