Yayzi - 80+ and packet loss
But don’t worry, it’s a local CF issue so doesn’t effect the wider community

Just wondering is is 80+ in game or just on the graph?
Both, games laggy as hell and get disconnects.
Ah okay, if it was just the graph then I wouldn’t fully trust it personally
If it was just the graph I wouldn’t post, the in game problems cause me to look at the graph.
Yeah, I get in game packet loss. It’s not as bad as some of the others on here but it is real and is noticeable. And yes, even though VM had a generally higher ping, never had any in-game issues with them.
Hoping for my migration sooner rather than later…
I’ve sent email and had reply back. It’s getting looked into😊
Has the migration started yet?
To be fair this is pretty bloody shit, this actively being investigated. Again if anyone else has issues, they need to be raised with us so we can investigate case by case.
Yes, it’s been ongoing since the update we put out.
Happy Forumversairy,
Why, thank you!
So further update this has been all weekend. I know it’s been the weekend but I really need this sorting over next couple days or I’m gunna go elsewhere unfortunately.

You’re right, mines not that bad fortunately. There does seem something greater than a saturated port or peering going on there. I mean it doesn’t even calm down off-peak.
Who’s your neighbour with, out of interest? My next door neighbour has just had CF installed and has gone with Vodafone (!). I think it’s only a basic package but will try and catch up with him at some point to see what his experience is like.
Just wanted to share this graph, you can see for the past week the traffic has been very consistent, highest peak for the last week was 18Gbps - so really not a lot of data through the CityFibre port.
So that is the traffic directly into CityFibre, we’re just absolutely no where near capacity, hence then the reason I’m asking for individual cases to be raised. So we can look specifically at connections, still had no one email in yet, so please do come in!
On 141.11.200.xx Pings to 1.1.1.1 over the past month
Ping inbound from TB
Family members graph that is 3 streets away on a different ISP, I suspect we both terminate at the same local CF exchange.
Doesn’t affect me day to day but gives a comparison.
Popped over an email, just shout if I can do any further digging from my side.
Funnily enough, latency starts to increase at the same points as your “out” throughput starts to increase everyday. If they were both plotted on a graph it would match almost identically. At least here anyway.
Obviously its peak time but should latency be increasing if you arent seeing significant load?
You’ve even got the 12am spike in throughput which i see daily with latency.
Pics from Saturday going into Sunday as an example
Probably wasting my time posting, but its pretty clear it plots almost identically.
Yeah we shouldn’t be seeing any increased latency at all. This is why it’s important that we take a look at every case individually, so we can gather data properly.
If you can drop us an email that would be perfect
