Hamstrung Streaming and Low Speeds

Hi
New to you. Firstly my streaming media is hamstrung with no Disney, ITVX, All4, Prime etc. (Interestingly Netflix is fine.) All reporting error or false positive to using a VPN. Looking at other posts here it looks like the I.P. address has to be changed to static but I am no expert.
Secondly, speeds are quite low at around 350mbps up and down. Not the 1gig I was expecting.
Sure it’s just teething for a new firm and new connections but looking forward to resolving.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi Dick,

We’ll move you onto a new IP range, but we’ve resynced your line so speed should be improved, although if you’re using WiFi then you will unlikely get a gig, just wanted to manage any expectations.

Thanks,

Thanks for the speedy response.
Expectations managed
Will reboot the router tonight.

Hi to all.
Huge speed increase. Many thanks
Still no streaming media though :frowning:
Please help. No Emmerdale for a week. Wife unhappy.
Kind regards.

Got a private DNS from Nord VPN so Apple TV working now.
Do let me know when you can manage to get around to sorting this problem out please.
For me and many others here, this is a fixable problem but can be a poor introduction to what I hope will be a successful venture.

Other systems don’t like the Nord-DNS from the router. Still gets a heap of denials from ‘don’t like Safari’ to ‘using VPN’ or "this video is currently unavailable. Most of Prime is like this even from the apple Nord-DNS setting. Thinks I am ‘out of the country’ says All 4.
Pinging your-my I.P. It says it’s in Wendover and gives your main company name. Seems it’s just not ‘REGISTERED’ in the U of K. I notice on other posts here that e.g. Channel 4, take considerable time to recognise new I.P. registrations. So does everyone else it seems "/
So, rather than changing to another ropey dynamic I.P. address, can I just have a static I.P. please?
Many thanks in advance.

Hey Dick,

We’ve got a new IP range going live on Monday/Tuesday, we’ve spent considerable time making sure that every single database we can find has the correct data on it. So we will put you on that and it should solve your problems completely :slightly_smiling_face:

Channel 4 have been a nightmare at updating things, but we keep bugging them!

Cracking job people.
NOTHING. Connected, speed test done, line up. NO CONNECTION. Nothing in the house has anything.
This is a fix it NOW request please.

Hi Dick,

Are you saying you don’t have a connection?

Thanks,
Yayzi Support Team

Yup all gone! Reseting the router but that’s hanging after wireless settings. Blue light was up but nothing was connecting.

Hi Dick,

Are you using the Aginet app?

Thanks,
Yayzi Support Team

It was on and looking for devices but off now.

Connection test is hanging. Aginet app deleted.

I’d recommend decking a pin in the reset hole on the router for 15 seconds and allow to set up for around 5-6 mins.

Also, can you confirm what lights you can see on the box on the wall?

Thanks,
Yayzi Support Team

Yeh got the pin reset from another post here. It was hanging on the connection test part. Now up it seems. Got a 100…I.P now. Same as this morning.
So now we are connected. What was up your end please?
Sorry just read.
Flashing dark blue.

OK so now I have connection from my Mac but no connection from my Apple TV box for any streaming media. Can I have that static IP now please because I think this is enough now.

Router speed results:

DOWNLOAD SPEED 839.58Mbps

UPLOAD SPEED 948.65Mbps

Permanent white light

Hi Dick,

Glad you’re sorted, speeds look spot on.

I’ll get your static IP assigned, you don’t need to reboot or touch anything, you’ll get an email once done :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks,

Can 100% confirm that NO streaming media recognises the new I.P. address.
Can this be sorted ASAP please because we have no telly now.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi
New static I.P. gives no access to streaming media. Apple TV box fully connected and speed tested for signal. All channels report fault.
Can we try another one please?
