And this continues… tried to sign up for a new email hosting account over the weekend as my existing email provider has some reliability issues, only to find that the order was stopped at the ‘Fraud check’. Just got this back from them:
Thank you for your ticket. I have checked and your order failed the fraud check. Looking at the results, this is due to your order coming from a Hosting IP address- ie a vps or server. I will need to pass your order to our Infrastructure Engineer to complete further checks and if we can accept the order.
So it appears this 185.210.171.x range is still on some database somewhere with a bad reputation… Just looked on BrightCloud (as suggested by @aaronjb) and its marked as ‘Suspicious’. @Yayzi_Team are you able to help here?
