If the lease time is resetting, that still wouldn’t explain an hour-long delay. if the pool were too small, devices would simply fail to get IPs rather than face delays. This suggests something unusual with the DHCP server or how it’s processing requests.
I thought with a DHCP lease, it will auto-renew either on expiration or reboot - simply marking the dhcp scope as not to be used should stop it renewing “faulty” IPs (if that is the issue) and force change to a new IP when lease naturally expires (no idea what Yayzi have that set at)
My router remains on for 8 hours overnight without a reboot, has currently been up for over an hour without a reboot, and still has the same external IP it had on Wednesday when my problems started…

Mark, your description of your issue mirrors word for word exactly my experience, I couldn’t have written it any differently myself.
Has anyone got their service restored yet? I haven’t FYI.

My service was restored around 4.30 this evening I’m not getting 2gig download speed seems to capped at 1gig but I’m happy my service is back on

Nearly two hours ago my router rebooted, unknown to me that puts me a the back of a magical queue!,
Is it just me or has this DON’T REBOOT your router/ONT not been communicated promptly, the main Instructions I seen was DON’T RUN SPEEDTESTs as it messes up the data
It’s been on the status page since about half 1 ish not to reboot 
but we are working on this. No one is going until its resolved.
I must of missed that!!!

@Yayzi_Team I’ve finally got a connection with an IP from the US Cogent Communications 154.56.254.*** hopefully it stays on, just need my static IP but enjoy your pizza (without pineapple)
