Yer… Like no firmware upgrade to enable IPv6 on Yayzi routers, it’s criminal!
im getting 200/100 on the 2gb/1gb…
Another day, another lie from @Yayzi_Team.
60% of the advertised speed you said?
only between 5pm-10pm you said?
This is a 10x+ reduction and I expect a £5 bill for this month, right?
Also, don’t forget I’m not new here. You still owe me 3 months refund since last September of 2023 and always only lies from @Yayzi_Team. Pathetic…
We’re going to have a scheduled outage today between 12:30 and 13:30 that should last 10 minutes. This will drop the traffic shaping off.
We sent an email out yesterday, and the status page has been updated.
We’ve chosen this time as traffic is as the lowest point and we will have staff on hand to assist.
Edit: also drop me a DM here and I’ll sort your refund out.
Will this convert it to the scheduled traffic shaping or fully off?
To the scheduled traffic shaping. That will be in place for a few days only.
Oh well, I never like those Tuesday lunch time project meetings anyway.
I mean I guess traffic is lower at 3am, what I assume you mean is its the lowest traffic during office hours so you dont have to get anyone to work out of hours?
Am just waiting for the Yayzi fanboys to come and tell us… you dont need internet access, go and take a walk in the fresh air…
I think this means that theyll have had slow speeds in place for over 48 hours, turn back to normal speeds for 3 1/2 hours (after a complete outage lasting ‘10 minutes’ and lets see if that works), then back to slow for 5 hours…
We got emails about this? When?
i got an email yesterday… effectively its the announcement in email form… (ie no personalised info)…
No email announcement received here either.
Thanks! I wonder why I didn’t get it
This is from https://status.yayzi.co.uk/
Make sure you sign up for people who haven’t already
We’re already working on migrations between 00:00 and 04:00 so again, it’s not about paying for anyone out of hours because we’re already working
We’ve done it at this time because its the lowest amount of traffic, and usage on the network, and we will have our support staff available if there are any issues. Not to mention people will be at home, if we need to get them to do any reboots of equipment.
I don’t mind either but I’d like a timeline.
If you guys do a reboot, the traffic shaping will be off (except the peak times)
Seems to be working…Assume the shaping will come on and off without a reboot?
