Is this a joke or whst…i can understand traffic management for a little while… earlier yesterday it was 45 up and down… now its around 4 ip and down… AND IM PAYING FOR 900 UP AND DOWN… are we all gonna get a discount on our next bill now then for not receiving the service we have agreed in contract…
Must be 20 years since I had a 2Mb adsl connection, that was with nildram & I thought the speed was awesome back then but not in 2024 it ain’t.
tell me about it… i use to have dial up Tiscali then network orange or AOL that ya use to get on cd’s to sign up for… i thought those days was gone… but they do say the old fashion never dies… pmsl
Same here, as stated things should start to improve as the day goes on, fingers crossed. I’m glad I’ve got 8 hours of work where I have intermittent mobile internet on my travels, it’s just like being at home at the moment.
lol… well they said everything will be done by the 11th… oh look its the 12th… well i do hope it does get better through today… i dred if anyone earns money online via youtube review of call of duty or fortnite …coz trust every bit of speed is important in competitve online gaming… and youtubers earns loads in doing that work… and at 7mbs up and down just wont work… and a loss of earnings could be brought against yayzi if those youtubers wanted… so i say yayzi tick tock clock is ticking…
It’s the 11th today mate
Can I ask, when did you join?
Loss of commercial earnings for business use on a residential service? I mean I see an obvious problem, and that’s before we ever get to the lack of contracted SLA or the premium payable for that.
Heres hoping sometime in the next 16hrs and 10mins we are back to normal.
When did you join Yayzi?
@THEHITMAN2020 this is another pointless post. I pay for 2.3gig down/up and I’m only getting 5mbps down/up. We all knew about the migration and unfortunately nothing can be done about it. Today is the 11th when it’s meant to be finished
My wife wotks from home and has been struggling the last few days, 7mb down & up is a joke, adsl would be faster.
They’re in the middle of a network migration.
Not sure where you’ve been but I’ve had multiple emails telling me about this and that speeds will be impacted.
They are due to finish today which is why I’d imagine that today is the worst it has been as they’re on the final stretch.
No, because they have clearly communicated why speeds are slow.
I’ve had multiple email about this over the past few weeks and if you’re on the forums, why would you not search first before creating another topic?
Updated yesterday:
Getting 2mpbs down speeds. Outlook is struggling to even download my new emails, a process normally so fast I forgot that it even happens. Hoping things improve by 9am as thats suppossed to be my first call.
Enjoying some of the nostalgia in the thread. I suppose I can still remember when 2mbps was considered reasonably good, but those days are long passed!
While we wait for a update from yagzi, please go read the post titled “do yayzi test anything?” For a good laugh.
Yes we should all reflect upon the wise words of the oh so important IT Director

Would you like me to point out more from the terms that we agreed to?
I think everyone in this forum has read the email updates, we were told speeds would be around 250. Speeds were around the 30-50 yesterday morning for me which was usuable with the odd drop, but since last night ive been around 6-8mb. I cant use teams while the kids are streaming.
