Chat about Network Migration, Issues and Speeds

Have you tried getting an external ethernet adapter for your laptop?

@cct u r right, I totally forget it. I’l order it tomorrow. Thanks much

@Yayzi_Team I’m still not getting the speeds I was before. I’ve just rebooted the ONT, and I’ve tried OVHcloud, SpeedTest (using the desktop app…) to your Yayzi server as well as several of the ones that used to give me full speed results before. But it’s topping out at ~1500Mbps no matter where I try. I’m fully wired on 2.5Gbps, nothing on my side has changed whatsosever. Before migration I was always getting download at just over 2000Mbps… Something is not right here.

I’m having the same issues here done all the step they told me to do still the same

@Yayzi_Team do you want this reported to the support email address from both myself and @omar ?

Yes please guys

Just spotted this one dealing with speeds.
Posted also in the feedback comments, but probably better here.
I have also emailed support.

Since the migration, my download speeds have been slower.
I’m on the 1.2 Gig Pro but it’s looking like I may be limited to 900 / 1000

I have done quite a few tests since the migration using a variety of test servers on Ookla Speedtest and through the Unifi UCG speedtest.

Speedtest results are thee from the new Yayzi speedtest option.
As you can see my ‘Highest Speed’ was 1234.66 Mbps - that was with Yayzi before migration.

Unifi UCG-MAX built in Speedtest always showed over 1200 Mbps before migration but now shows more like this each time.

I did the iperf test myself from the Unifi UCG-Max via SSH and got:

iperf3 -c lon.speedtest.clouvider.net -P 20

Give your ONT a reboot :slightly_smiling_face:

Is it an Asus router?

Just did the reboot - same results unfortunately.
I have replied via email with results

I’m using asus router maybe try a different router and see is it possible to have one of your router?

Thought I’d just reboot the ONT for a laugh and my speeds have now dropped slightly further - doh!

Just run the test using Yayzi’s own server and the results are disappointing. Nowhere near the 900Mbps your website states you guarantee for wired connections.

I can see you posted in thread we’ve got going. We’re taking this seriously that’s why we’re gathering data.

Mine dropped now too, 2Gig GPON, now running at 1169mbit download 981 upload always got near 2gig down no issues, full 2.5gig network hardwired no wifi.

@K3V1N can you post your results in here, would be extremely helpful for gathering data.
