IP Geolocation Issues (Please Read)

It does but you can’t cast off the website to a tv.

You can if use iPhone to firestick or tv as I do it all the time

If you go to the website on your phone surely you can cast to a TV? I used to be able to on my Android dog and bone (phone) as ive not tried it in a while

Most newer TV’s you can directly connect your Laptop / PC to the TV. I don’t know your TV model but if you google the model you can see if it supports it and if your PC / laptop does too then just connect to the laptop as a second screen and do it that way.

There’s no cast option on the Channel 4 website that I can find.

My TV is pretty old and while I have it networked I can’t find a way to send anything to it.

What device are you trying to use too cast?
What devices do you have available?

I’m using an Android mobile device, part of the device you can use screencadt for example.

In Windows 11:

To cast your computer to a TV, press the Windows + K keys on your keyboard at the same time. Then, select your TV from the pop-up window. Once your TV is connected, you can press the Windows + K keys again to choose whether you want to mirror your PC or use your TV as a separate display.

Android phone casting to Chromecast plugged in to the TV.

Win+K only works if the receiving screen supports it, which my TV doesn’t.

New TV for Christmas? Lol

+1, Channel 4 app on TV geoblocked, 149.18.87.x range.

https://ifconfig.co has it as AS64286 (LOGICWEB), which is clearly wrong.

Yep, see above, using the website is fine, channel 4 are trying to resolve…

FYI this site is wrong. It says it uses MaxMind but they was one of the first to update. GeoIP databases demo | MaxMind

@Yayzi_Team

I contacted someone over at IPBase for you and got them to fix it today for you

You might need to contact them if the ASN is wrong.

Can anyone confirm if doing this has fixed any issues for you guys?
