Oh yeah, I’m getting the same on Reddit.
You obviously don’t have kids… Oh, and I’ve just got 3 eps left of a show I’ve been binging, without Disney+ working I’ll have to… talk to the wife instead
Lasted only 30 mins down already.
I do have kids but use Plex. Also I feel your pain in having to talk your wife as I will watch anything not to talk to mine
Yeah totally Plex is the way to go
Bit strange this as I’m on 79.135.100.x range and reddit works perfectly fine
Plex is great, paired with the 'arr’s makes it even better. Gutted they killed/killing the plugins as I had it all linked up to my Hue lights, film starts, lights dim like the cinema. Probably other ways to do it now, but haven’t had time to look into it.
Odd, It’s working now. I wonder what this IP range was used for before?
Mine hasn’t been restored yet even though they told me it would be up in a few minutes, that was 2 hours ago. I hope they don’t change my ip as the static ip is part of the package I pay for and it would cause no end of problems at this end.
Your IP will likely change, they said to PM them if you need to keep the same IP. Also make sure you’ve set your router back to Dynamic DHCP so it picks up the new static IP (until they change it back).
Not sure - Maxmind Geo IP looks as it should but I’ve seen a cached version of a page where this IP range is owned by another company.
That said appears clean in the usual places so might just be a hang up from being pushed live early before getting all the Geo/Reputation things sorted.
Would people rather have a working connection albit with a few wonky Geo IP issues, or no connection.
Yes I’m aware people would likely not have these issues with a big provider - but that was the benifit of taking Yayzi up on their 1 month contract offer - if your unhappy dump them and move on
Hi can someone advise me what’s going I was told my account was being looked at but still nothing
Same, but no further updates or response from @Yayzi_Team
I hope they are going to compensate us in someway for this. My 5g bill will cost me a fortune.
I don’t beleive Yayzi are part of the Automatic compensation scheme so unlikely
Screw Disney I just want my Internet sorted
We’re not part of it just yet - if there was days and days of downtime we would offer credit based on the downtime, for the hours of downtime I believe the credit would amount to less than £1. What I would rather we do first is get everyone sorted and then figure out after that.
It does state in our terms that we don’t cover costs for loss of earnings etc… This is a residential line and not a business one.
On the 79.135.101.x range here, and I get that same Blocked page, but if I follow the login link and login, then the same home URL (www.reddit.com) works fine. Very strange.
Hi @Yayzi_Team my connection is back up but speeds are slow and I have no response to emails or WhatsApp. Can you please assist. Thanks
Yeah I was just pointing it out to the person who asked
I have a slower TalkTalk Business line I use for WFH and that comes with an SLA - but then you pay nearly 3x the costs for it however in cases like this it pays for itself in a single outage if your using it for business reasons.
Again I’m totally happy with the service your providing
