My service has gone down

@Yayzi_Team I’m getting DHCP errors saying no active lease, then when it finally gets a lease I get gateway errors No route to host, or host is down.

I’ve factory reset everything even created a new pfsense box with basic settings to remove any of my customisation from the problems.

I’ve had no connection since 10 am.

Approaching 48 hours of downtime now and no resolution in sight. Class service!

We’re working on yours now, apologies for the continued downtime.

Team let me know when I can / should try again - using my secondary line at the moment - challenge again tomorrow? Or should it be working now? My issues were still happening this morning / mainly variable service rather than being down - thanks

@Yayzi_Team still a bit choppy drops for seconds and comes back

This worked. Pain in the ass tho. Perhaps a sticky is in order?

Any idea when the speed issues will be resolved? I went with Yayzi as they offered the best speed over other City Fibre suppliers. I can get that speed with all other City Fibre suppliers, without all this hassle that I’ve experienced since I signed up. I have not been able to use my connection properly and I’m still paying for a Virgin connection which I have had to leave the rest of my house on because of the unreliable connection with Yayzi.

I was told I would get an IPv6 IP in 48 hours and this would resolve my issue, instead I get a 154 IP that’s slower than before and unstable. I really did want to stop with Yayzi, I like the idea it’s a small upcoming broadband supplier, I hoped that this would result in better service. However, I am really running out of patience now, and the fact I’m not going to continue to pay for two broadband providers because my new one is just not performing well.

I understand that S**T happens, but that really doesn’t help me currently.

I was getting 1200/1000 before the changeover.

@Yayzi_Team I lost the internet again

The static IPs are just dynamic reservations so you’ll still get the static IP assigned via DHCP - it’s tied to your router’s MAC address at Yayzi’s end so will remain the same unless you change routers but you can then spoof the MAC address of the new router to be the same as the old router to retain the same IP.

Cheers.

Hi, thanks for letting me know. This confirms the DHCP issue thought. Bear with us

@Yayzi_Team Been posting for 24 hours of drop outs, not a peep from yourselves. Still having drop outs on a 154 address. Can I be moved onto a 185 address please. Failing over to 4G while on teams calls is driving me insane.

Hi Lee,

We have just been trying to confirm a DHCP issue, which is causing you problems as well. We no have confirmation of that

Can I be moved over to a 185 address please? @aaronjb mentioned he was on a 154 address and had dropouts similar, moved to 185 and its been stable since. @Yayzi_Team

We have another range 149.X that we are going to move you onto

Brilliant thanks.

Can I also be moved onto 149.x if that’s going to fix the speed and drop outs?

I was on a 149 IP earlier today and mine has been disconnected for the last 2.5 hours lol

Never heard of COD crashing due to DHCP IP’s… however, I have crazy latency playing COD and it’s making it unplayable right now, constantly hitching with voice chat cut outs.

Great!! Do they have any IP’s that don’t have issues attached to them…
