My service has gone down

Assuming that 141.11.200.53 was my static ip, I’ve assigned that manually, and then tried pinging your first hop default gateway on 141.11.200.49

And seeing no replies at all.

So this is now looking as though it is not just a dhcp issue, but a different connectivity issue.

@JRW I had similar experience earlier. Hard reset (button) of ONT, followed shortly after by full reset/restart of my router fixed it.

@MaffMaff Thanks will try that now.

Other thing I’m now wondering is, is this is an ARP issue, because I’m now seeing frequent ARP requests from the default gateway asking for the MAC address of the IP I was offered by the DHCP server.

Hmm, you’ve still got a DHCP lease. So it’s not that dropping, investigating further

**Update, recovered after 5 minutes. Latency seems a little higher since it has returned.

Can you drop me a DM just so we can take a look at this one. There were no network drops at all so just want to take a closer look if that’s okay

Our Cisco engineer has been taking a look at yours and I can’t tell you what he said on a public forum but basically he things your router may be erm, not working correctly.

Have you got one of our routers at all (or are you already using ours?) I can’t see it on our TAUC system that’s all.

Looks like that lease has just expired and failed to renew. Back to 0.0.0.0 :frowning:

My connection never dropped but definitely saw a spike in latency around an hour ago for 8 or so minutes. Settled since
