My service has gone down

I upgraded my package a few days ago but no router has come yet neither the email of the upgrade

Hey, could you send me my static IP details? Lost all connection just now.

Edit: after a few resets of my router I’m back online. Connection seems to grind to a halt on wired, router is receiving correct speeds but my rax120v2 seems to grind to a halt for some reason, damn thing has been plagued by bad software, may need to invest in something non Netgear!

Just wanted to say, I’m back online now (hopefully permanently), the move to the 141 range, a forced reset of the ONT, and then waiting seemed to fix it.

Would’ve posted this last night, but hit the forum rate limits…

Many thanks to all of the work of the Yayzi staff involved!

Connection has generally been solid for the last day so thank you for the work done.

Have just had a random 1 minute cutout, where the internet light on the router actually went off entirely instead of red, then came back. Possibly an ONT reboot? (I couldn’t get to the ONT quick enough to check the lights haha)

All back on now with the same IP, but did notice this odd record on the router log that seems to indicate it was instructed to release the IP? Is that a normal thing when an ONT restarts?

ID Time Type Level Log Content
25 2024-03-18 11:55:21 VOIP Notice restart SIP stack due to intf IP changed to 0.0.0.0
26 2024-03-18 11:55:21 VOIP Notice ip_conntrack module is not loaded, or we did not open the CONFIG_NF_CT_LOCAL_LIMIT
27 2024-03-18 11:55:20 DHCPC Information Unicasting a release of 141.11.200.xx to 141.11.200.xx

Any timescale for sorting this please? Cheers!

@Yayzi_Team connection has been fine but tonight, I’ve been having terrible packet loss when gaming.

I posted a few days ago about being geolocked since the transit issues stabilised and I’m still not able to use Channel 4 etc. could someone please swap me onto another IP?

Hello

I have also been moved to a new dynamic IP, when I previously had a static IP. I’m being geoblocked from All4 as well.

Can I get back to a static IP again?

This is all being sorted guys don’t worry. We just have to wait for some geolocation databases to update. Channel 4 seem to be painfully slow, weirdly if you access through a pc or laptop it works fine. Just the app it seems. Can anyone else confirm that for me?

If you login without a VPN on a laptop or desktop does it work. We’ve had people say it’s not an issue on a laptop or desktop but is via phone/TV apps. Just so we can figure out a little more what is happening with it

Confirmed, working fine on my PC but not either of the 2 android phones. Not tried a tablet yet.

e: android tablet didn’t work.

Tried again and still geolocked.

And still geolocked.

We’re at the mercy of how fast the databases update here :frowning:

Still not sorted…

For your static or credit? If so I can see the credit has been assigned. But I can see your static isn’t sorted so we will get that done for you tomorrow morning.

Had my service installed on Friday and can see on dynamic ip and should be on static ip. Can this be looked into please.

It will still say dynamic even when you get assigned a static, the static IP is done Yayzi end.

Any news when 185 IP’s can be made static @Yayzi_Team ?

Ok just thought I would check as says dynamic in router settings

As mentioned, the address reservation is done at the Yayzi end - your router pulls a dynamic IP, but is always given the same dynamic IP. You can set it to static if you want and fill in the details, it’ll still be the same IP. At least if you leave it as dynamic on the router side, if anything does change, you can be given another IP and at least be online etc.
