Back to DHCP not working - no connection

I’ve just gone to swap everything in my house from my VM connection to Yayzi, the 1st PC I tried was my wife’s, however she’s getting geo issues when trying to login to her medical portals saying login failed due to trying to login from outside of the UK.

When I tried the 185 IP range (which wasn’t static) she had no issues and could login without any problems. It seems the static 141 IP’s have geo issues.

Can you sort this for me please as I’m at the end of my patience with Yayzi now, I’ve had nothing but geo location, VPN, packet loss, high pings, slow speed issues since I joined!

I think I have been very patience, I have continued to pay for VM so as I don’t cause any issues with every other device in my house whilst you sort all these issues out in the background. Like I have said previously I liked the idea of joining a new upcoming company over a bigger company that doesn’t really value customers, however I can’t continue like this any longer.

Can you please sort out my connection so I can use it as its meant to be used, instead of having 1 PC connected being the guinea pig whilst you sort out network issues.

Thanks

Just dropped you a DM

Kids are doing their nuts to get it back for a minute and have dad ‘kill it’ … any idea how long this will take?

Replied

Should be back up now

It’s down totally now, orange light on the router.
I’ve tried rebooting also.

Can you do another reboot and let me know if you get back?

Nope still totally down. No DHCP response.

I rebooted modem. Nothing.

Back on now thanks.

Is your service light on, on the ONT?

Yes. Solid green

Can you do a factory reset on both ONT and modem?

Well I’m back online but still appear to be exiting in Manchester and with slower speeds than expected.

To London servers

(Edit to add, I understand you say the peering in Manchester might not be live yet, but all the IP mapping sites and speedtest say I am there which is odd)

That’s because where our IPs are registered, so seems to be picking those closest to Blackpool.

Let’s keep you on this for the moment so you have a connection. I don’t want you to have anymore downtime and we can take a look at the speeds for you. Would that work for you?

Agreed. It’s not ideal but 1/2 a connection is better than nothing at all, especially as the work week starts.

As I have a request in to upgrade to 2.5Gb Pro + can you go ahead and send that new router out to test with? Perhaps that will make the difference that’s needed? I believe my ONT that was installed by CF supports 2.5GB already.

So the upgrade has been completed, but obviously until you get the router that won’t make a difference.

We’ll get the router shipped out tomorrow for you.
