Packet loss and generally crap connection tonight

Same here, high pings and packet loss. Always the same during peak times…. We really need an update @Yayzi_Team please.

Hey all!

So it looks like the issue is on the CityFibre port as we suspected. That capacity is being doubled, in the next week or so. Should resolve these issues for you all.

Then we have a further capacity upgrade being added around 2-3 months after that.

But just to make it clear, this isn’t a network capacity issue but a CityFibre port issue :slightly_smiling_face:

Can you please keep us fully updated and try and get this done sooner rather than later as it is clearly affecting a lot of people and tarnishing their overall experience.

A date of when these upgrades will take place will help, at least we will know when we will see the improvements by.

What if they don’t hit that deadline? people will be upset, which is likely why there is not ETA

It’s better than an answer like it will be done in a week or so, just like IPv6 will be rolled out in a week or so, how has that gone since they announced that many months ago…?

It’s not a guessing game, City Fibre would schedule this job in, they would have a date.

I’m curently in the reddit offer trial period and think I’m going to leave. How do I close things out with you once the line is taken over by the new ISP to make sure the direct debit is canceled?

Nothing here, but last night was ropey and I definitely felt the lag spikes at times.

Yeah, had bad packet loss while gaming, as per. Fingers crossed the port upgrade will save us all!

It’s been particularly bad lately, and getting worse. I also really hope the port upgrade works as the connection is useless for gaming in it’s current form.
