I dunno what’s going on router reconnect to the internet but will not load google what’s going on this is shambles
It was an hour exactly
Seems to be back now
Down in Birmingham.
Why does it take so long for 5 GHz WiFi to come back online after a reboot? It looks like the 2.4 is almost instant but the 5 GHz is still not back nearly 10 mins after reboot.
And I have no idea why but I also have no 4G available on O2 at the same time as the Yayzi went down. Running on crappy h+ right now.
No connection since 10:14.
Prior to the current 45 minutes of downtime (and ongoing), I’ve had absolutely horrendous service of downtime, significant packet loss and increased latency since Thurs/Fri and I’ve had a lovely Iranian-tagged IP despite taking out a plan specifically for the static IP.
You’re going to be crediting your customers for the days in which we haven’t received our minimum speeds quoted on your site, correct?
I’m just glad I’ve got a failover connection because this has been managed absolutely horrendously. I appreciate you’re upgrading the network and all but this migration evidently hasn’t gone to plan.
Currently having the fun of dealing with support for certain services to whitelist my new IP, only to then have to go through this mess again when my static ip is reassigned.
Even better is that this is happening over a weekend when people are at home and using their connection.
Wookieboy, are you still down? I’m over in Stopsley.
I’m connected, and some sites work, like this one, but most don’t and it’s quite flaky - I’m back on a 213.x.x.x IP too, so I guess I’ve been unmigrated
Yup. Still seeing no interwebz
Please rest assured while I know this isn’t great (I am a customer as well of Yayzi) they are working on a fix ASAP.
They have found the issue currently and are working on resolving it.
I’m guessing it’s a DNS issue now, some websites/services are resolving fine but the majority are not even after I’ve flushed the cache locally on my computer and switched the DNS server addresses on the router twice.
They must compensate for the lack of service for this long - few minutes outage is fine but this is way too long
I wasted 1 hour without having a proper resolution
And who knows they may find another issue after fixing the current one and so on.
Absolutely shocking to do this before midnight
Check if all websites are working or not, for me only fast.com works , majority others like Google YouTube Facebook doesn’t work at all

I rebooted my router same issue no Internet
Please keep and eye on this, I will update here once I hear more.
Lol at least Alexa is not Iranian
As per chat in discord:
It’s before midnight so the transfers from 00:00-04:00 can continue as planned (CF has restricted them to 1 customer per minute during this timeframe, so any delay would delay the whole process).
Give your routers a few minutes or more … it seems the DHCP server is getting slammed with so many requests, but it should resolve eventually. Mine took about 10-15min but I have an address and websites seem to be working now.
Same here with numerous websites not accessible. Work around for me is to access via a VPN and all good as I assume it bypasses whatever is causing the issues.
I’ve rebooted the ONT twice, now got a 213.18.200.x address. BUT… I can’t seem to reach well over half of the sites I’ve tried. And as I and my missus both work home, this isn’t looking good…
I still have no internet access in Birmingham rebooted twice.
Car won’t charge either unless internet comes back - it’s all controlled via octopus and my internet connection.
