XGS-PON Upgrades

It’s very odd as the API won’t give 2 different results. So not sure what’s going on tbh.

Vodafone are talking :ox: :poop:

Thats so bad… wtf

Just did a check on mine as well…

So Yayzi advertise it correctly (not hidden away) the way it should be.

Interesting - look what they show me!

Yet I cannot get this with Yayzi - who I trust to have the correct info

Yeah press next till you get to the page where you pick add ons. Then press Plan details

Its not 1.8 up and down.

It’s a full on lie download & upload

Even more interesting…
Some more

Your right - thats a bit naughty !

Its very naughty. Not sure how they are getting away with that tbh.

Huge lie as well.

GPON CAN NOT NOT 2Gbps UP AND DOWN

GPON can only do 2.5 down and 1.25 up. Physically not possible to go higher.

Did you not read the response I had earlier? It’s not as clear cut as GPON vs XGS-PON speeds.

Yeah but this one says GPON Areas so thats a straight lie. As is the Vodafone one.

Heck watch this from Rocket

Outright false info on one page then correct on the other.

and the Voda one has the small print as @WhyAydan says

Yep, it’s a scam to “Look good on the front page”

Yayzi don’t give you this false shit

Just checked CityFibre portal directly, you are in a GPON only area - see attached screenshot see the line profile ends in A (asymmetrical

)

We were the first MultiGig provider on CityFibre, months before anyone else and testing even further back, we’ve been doing it for over a year, trust me we make sure we display the correct information, it serves no purpose to us to mislead anyone by saying on you can get 2Gbps symmetrical when they can’t that is just an outright lie (and we will actually raise this point, with CityFibre and whoever else we feel may need to know)

I was gonna email them (and get ignored obvs) to see if they actually think its right to outright lie about it.

Whilst your on their set my line profile to XGS pls and thanks :joy:

It’s simply false advertising, it’s so wrong!

Don’t start  haha!
