XGS-PON Upgrades

I wouldn’t get your hopes up too much, Yayzi availability checker still only shows 2Gig Pro for my neighbours address. Unless @Yayzi_Team know anything different…?

If you can now see 2.3Gig Pro+ on our checker then we can upgrade you

Not available at your address, yet.

Is it available at my address? Wasn’t sure if you were replying to me or not earlier.

Sorry, not available at yours just yet either.

As I pointed out here : Connected since LAST JUNE - BUT now CF wants to hook me up AGAIN tomorrow

my update went well and after using the availability tracker today my package options are now:

NOTE the 2Gb package has gone walkies and if I pulldown on the main website all 3 GPON packages are shown and the 2.3Gb is te one that’s missing ??

So the only XGS-PON capable package shown now is the 900Mb i have.

Certainly something weird going on, decided to check an address on the yayzi site that’s just 10 minutes walk away and it shows the 2.3gig pro package is available. Far as I’m aware whole areas get activated when xgs-pon comes to a new area, not just selective streets, someone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong about that though.

I can’t check either house next to me as for some reason the address lookup on your site doesn’t seem to recognize my street or any address that I try and check around me that I know is CF enabled, that’s odd.

Your address can now get XGS-PON. It’s been enabled.

They’re not area specific, they can even be street specific. Lots of reasons for this :slightly_smiling_face:

Jealous :disappointed_relieved:

You can check on aanet I think they called they seems to have access to the areas that is enabled maybe cf give them more information

Maybe I’m missing something (and sorry if this has already been covered),

But how come @Yayzi_Team’s checker shows the non-plus 1.2Gig Pro package next to the plus 2.3Gig Pro+ package? In other words, the medium-tier package implies GPON, but the top-tier package implies XGS-PON.

Pricing levels. Below the £50pm 2.3Gig package, the next one down is the 1.2Gig package. No point in showing the 2Gig if you’re in a XGS-PON area - the price is the same.

Thanks but I mean it’s showing the upload as 1000 not 1200.

It’s just a typo, we’re trying to get the system to be able to differentiate the two 1.2Gig packages. But if you can see the 2.3Gig Pro+ then you’re in a XGS-PON area and the 1.2 will be symmetrical speeds

Can confirm XGS-PON symmetric services shown for ALL packages now:

Which wasn’t the case in my previous post (in this thread) over a week ago.

If you have the 2.3 gig showing then your area is XGS-PoN
